Default odd....fast blinker??

I was driving to work this morning and the left turn blinker was falshing rapidly as if I had a bulb burnt out. Well I parked the car and checked it out on the outside and it started blinking normally. My next thought was that the switch was frozen but I park in a heated garage over night. I had this problem with my last car too. It could also be a short in the wiring harness of my half red/clear tails.

Just wondering if anyone else delt with this and solved the mystery

Try replacing both bulbs [to make it easier (left side, front/rear)]and see if that solves it. It may just be a loose filament in one of the bulbs.

the red/clear tails have no wiring with them... they use OEM wiring, which is built into the car...

It might be the left reveres light. Try to change that one out

It could be as Manincamo said a loose filament in one of your dual filament bulbs. Try switching sides and see if it happens again.

I've always thought that when blinkers flash fast like that, it's a sign that one of the bulbs is going to burn out soon... Dunno if that's really the case or not. Might as well replace em, not like they're expensive

my left blinker blinks fast when the headlights are off, and very slow when the headlights are on. and it doesnt actually "blink", it just goes on and then off. ive tried 3 different sets of bulbs and no good. next step is to test the wiring? any ideas?
