Anyone out there put in white face gauges? If so, did you leave your needles white or paint them, replace, etc?

 

I've seen some painted needles. I think they look way better than white.

 

I put some silver faced reverse indiglos on my accord back when I was still sporting it. Kept the needles normal, and it was fine. My friends thought they were cool and for $70 and 2 hour install, it was worth it, IMO

gauges are alright, but I'm kinda iffy anymore.... If I ever swap an 99-00 si engine into my ride, I think I'll get some just to have the proper redline

 

Well, I was kinda "iffy" about getting any, but I came across a set of reverse glow JDM 160 MPH gauges for $20 so I bought them. Now that I have them and see what all is involved in installing them, I'm thinking "Screw it".

 

its really not all that hard. It took me 2 hours because I had no idea how to remove the gauge cluster.

What's jdm about indiglo?

I used a shapie marker to make my needles red, paint will affect your readings

 

I have white faced gauges and I left my needles white. Its ok, Im not into the whole indiglo thing anymore so Im just waiting until I sell my car and I get my new one. I wont do it again though.
