How light can you make your Civic?
Just wondering how light you can make the Civic? The 6gen's are around the 2400lbs. I was wondering what you would have to do to lessen the weight about 1400lbs so it would become 1000lbs in total. Let's not worry about money. Afterwards quote a finnal price of modds. At 1000lbs it's obviously not a safe car to be ridding in but, would the small weight cause a problem in the driving? Thanks

tube chassis, motor, seat, steering wheel.
by then it's not even a civic anymore and it still wont be down to 1000lbs.

1000 lbs? never heard of a civic that light.
my car is rated at 2612. with the mods i've done: exhaust, headers, intake, koni yellows, 1/4 tank, lightweight wheels, rear upper & lower strut bars, brembo blanks, and spare tire and jack gone my car is down to 2515. Hopefully w/the new wheels I'm getting it will be down to 2495lbs.

How about doing this.......
Plexi Glass windows, No Dash Board, No rear seat, No door panels, No rear panel, No passenger seat, No headlinner, No Radio, No air conditioning, power steering, Carbon Fiber trunk, CF hood, Cf fender, Cf door if its available or fiberglassdoor, Lighter Internal Engine parts, Lighter control arms, Evo Wheels 15" which are 8 pounds, Ligter exhaust and Intake. Tube Chasis
How many pounds would that decrease the weight of the car?
