Default v afc

does anybody know how to tune the apexi v afc v tec controller. i put it in my 96 ex turbo and the car runs like ass. it ran better w/o it. any info would help. thanks.

What's the rest of your setup? Generally you'll want to put the thing on a dyno and have someone tune it who knows what they're doing.

i'd recommend putting all the setting back to stock, such as fuel %'s, vtec switchover, etc.

if the car still runs like ass then it may not be wired correctly. if it runs good again, run it on stock settings until you can get it on a dyno.

Make sure your sensor and vehicle type settings are correct.

There should be no reason why the car would run horribly with that on unless:

Incorrect installation
Incorrect settings

This wasn't the so-called AFC hack/trick that you did, is it?

my boys b16 turbo ran better when he put the crossover at 8grand.

Disconnect the VAFC reset your ecu and then hook it up right and either take it to a dyno,or at least get someone with a clue to adjust while you drive around.

Easier said than done. When installing a AFC, wires will be spliced and/or cut. Just re-check wiring.
