Default $19,000 into an Si?

Hey everybody, a friend of mine knows a guy who bought a '00 black Si for like $16k. Now he sent it to a shop to get a full-on buildup. From a C-West front end to Sparco seats, to a T04E turbo to a stand-alone comp management system... simply put: the works. Anyway, the total bill after completion was estimated at $19,000! The kid picks it up like next week or something. What can me and my friend expect to be done to this thing for that price?

I know there is money to be easily thrown around, but the guy didn't get a re-build of the engine or drivetrain, stock Si wheels. I mean anyone have any ideas?

I'll try to get pics once I see the car, the kid is real cool about it and is letting my friend take the car out on his own for one night. I can't wait, the shop that did the work has an 11 sec civic.

Wow...35k and he is still driving what a lot of people consider an "economy car." I would have taken that 35k and bought myself an S2k with a set of Volk TE-37s or something. Sure the car is fast, but I still could never justify putting 19k into a civic. I'll have to agree with SirSmokeAlot's flogging animation on this one.
