Default Replacing rear speakers. How?

Hey guys i just bought 4 Pioneer Ts-a1661 3-way speakers and i put the two front ones in today. I would like to put the 2 rear ones in whenever since i still need an engine so i though i should find out how to get access to the rear speakers. So far my experience with removing the panels in he sol is a lot of fragile clips, how do you remove these side panels for the speakers safely thanks
Jim

remove center trimpanel directly below the rear window - 9 clips total..
then remove 2 screws and remove the speaker grille/trimpanel - 4 clips for each side
thats pretty much it

and the speaker pods will fit 6 1/2in or 5 1/4in speakers with no more than 2in top mounting depth .

My friend asked a "pro" who said if the car didn't come stock with rear speakers that you can't add them. I'm guessing this isn't true, right?
