Default Stupid rust

Well, I had a leak somewhere in my trunk. My wheel well was alweays wet, as was anyhting in my trunk. So tonight i figured i would try and locate the leak... figuring it was a trunk seal.

Well I noticed a puddle of water. Now it being nighttime and all, I had a flashlight in the trunk, I happened to move around outside the trunk for a second, and bam... what was this i saw light on the outside of my car, from the trunk. So, I pulled all the carpeting out of that area, and i saw a little stream of water running down to a puddle, on the drivers side rear corner of the trunk. there was some sealant putty there, (outter tail light corner area) which was a moldy black, instead of an overspray-ish red. I cut away all the putty i could, and a dremil did the rest. Some more cleaning of the area to all metal, a hair dryer to dry the area, and some black silicon adhesive sealant, and vuala, it should be leak free. Although looking at the are on the outside, It has some rust bubbles working through the paint. Just like my wheel wells.

This summer is going to be fun griding half my car away h: filling it with putty, and repaiting.

If i only had the luck of someone hitting me and denting every panel slightly so the car has to be compeltly repainted
, so a body shop could hook me up with some work

Stupid north east snow and salt.

Well obviously if you live in Arizona or something car isn't going to rust. But Hondas rust badly given the correct circumstances.
