Default 94 civic hatch w/ ls swap havin issues

i am having troubles wit my ls not wanting to rev past 2500. i have had problem after problem wit this car. first no break lights and then the clutch master and slave and now this. the only thing i could think would be the cats are clogged other then that i am lost. i thank you in advance for your help.

the cats wouldn't stop it from revving I know that much. check your grounds and check your atlernator make sure its putting out the right amount of juice. Those aren't real helpful but its a start.

your pcm is in limp mode.
is the check engine light on?

Try resetting the ecu, might want to check for any stored codes first.

Yeah, it sounds like similiar to my EF on Thur. I would check your battery wires pos. & neg. My EF didn't rev pass 3K & it was sputtering, popping & jerking like crazy coming home from work. The next morning checked my battery cables, plug gap & now ride like a champ.

it was a wire that came loose when we was working on the clutch. hooked it back in and she runs beautiful
