Default help?

Well, i hyrdrolocked my car. I got quotes $2100 to fix the stock engine, naturally...i said screw it, and I want to find out about swaps. Does anyone in South Florida know of reputable shops for swaps and the like, and what engines should i be looking into?

my friend reffered me to a guy who's getting me prices for a B16...looks like this is gonna go through =)

Can we ASSume you have an AEM CAI, and can we ASSume it was rain/puddle/snow related?

<sigh> Every time I talk myself into getting an AEM CAI someone posts a horror story. LOL

not an AEM, but yes. I regret putting it on now, i was stupid though, it was ****ing pouring and i couldnt see ANYTHING. I didnt see the puddle when i started driving through it

Fort Lauderdale is the king of floods. Reason enough why I wont get one.

As far as engine shops though, I dont know.

Next time you'll get a short ram I guess. Westcoaststyle learned the hard way too. I've only ever had a short arm. Once I get my engine in I'm gonna put a short ram on it. Don't want to ruin the thing.
