Default Real World driving with springs (another spring thread :oh: )

on a 1.6" drop or so, in a sedan, with a full load (driver+shotgun+2 in back seat), with 16's riding on 205/45, how will my car be ride wise? Like, mainly, I'm worried about wheel well rubbing and whatnot. When I had 205/50/16 tires, my wheels would rub like a biatch with 3 or more people inside. Will this occure as well once I drop my ride?

when I had my civic dropped about 2" (now its about 1.5") with 16's (205/25/16) I never really had a problem with rubbing, ever, then again I hardly ever had more than 3 people including me in the car. but no, i don't remember ever rubbing. A lot will depend on the offset of the rims, the spring rate, and how fat the people in the car are.

Currently, like i said, i'm about 1.5" or so with 15" rims 205/50/15 and I never rub.

I'm on Neuspeed Sports (1.6 front, 1.8 rear, i think) on a 94 civic dx. Tires are Nitto 215/40/16. Only car for the family. To say i'm not a big guy, a buck 50 dripping wet. But with the wife, kid and all his crap/ no problems. Looks good. About 1.5 finger gap. Forgot about the wheels. Eagle Alloys/16x7.5. Can still take corner hard with no problem but he wife saying i drive like a maniac.

3 people in the rear, me + shotgun in front. Heavy sub/amp setup in trunk + lots of trash. 1.5-1.75" drop in front, 2-2.5" drop in back (yeah I need to get it fixed) w/ stock shocks. 205/50/15's. I don't rub at all.

 ideal post

I forgot to mention my heavy-ass bandpass box w/ 2 12's

I guess thats that. I'll just have to wait for crucial to sell me his springs and then I'll be looking sessy.

its probably more about the wheel offset rather than the springs drop.
