Which exhaust to get for a 92 civic vx hatchback? I am trying to decide on a cat cack exhaust that is made for a civic vx. Does thermal make one for a vx? Any one have any suggestions? Thanks in advance. Jay.

I would buy an N1 muffler then take it to a shop and ask them to run custom piping from the cats back. ALOt cheaper

My muffler was $160
Piping $145

What he's saying is don't waste your money on performance mods on the VX motor, what he doesn't know is that if you get a Apexi N1, you can use it with almost any swap with little welding. Also, I wouldn't spend anymore money on that engine, save up, get a swap, you won't regret it, unless you want to go all show, then just get a muffler, big ass heavy wheels and a kit. Then you'll be really cool.

Acually, the stock exhaust system is all rusted out. Was wondering if anyone had any luck with replacement exhausts other than oem. I wasn't looking to make a hot rod vx anyway, just thought money might be better spent on something of better quality.

Get an Apexi N1 catback, you won't be sorry. When I did my swap, I needed an exhaust right away because my CX exhaust was basically a pea shooter, and so I ran out of money, and had a custom one made for about $400, if I had a little more patience, I could have had an N1, but I was impatient, wanted the car right away, on the upside it's a 3 inch exhaust, much larger than the N1. She's turbo ready
