are Civic & integra shifters the same????
I'm gonna manufacture a new type of short shifter very soon.
What I need to know is if the same shifter that will work on a Honda Civic will work with an Acura Integra?
Or if anyone can link me or tell me what years of what cars are the same, right now I really need to know what will work in civics & integras. Mainly 5th & 6th gen civics & I guess the Teg gens with the round headlights & the one before ( I don't know tegs too well)
Any help is greatly appreciated.

no offense but if ur planning on manufacturing something this isnt the best place to ask. There are lots of knowledgable hondaheads in here no doubt, but any one can come in here to answer ur question including the kids that try and put "SI" badging on cavaliers..... go someplace where u can find hard facts..i find searching for spec sheets to be pretty helpful and theres pleanty out there..goodluck

i've noticed the integra shifter from 94-2000 integra's have a longer bottom end. when i say bottom end i'm talking about the base which the shift linkage bolts to. i had a civic shifter on my integra shift linkage and i had to put in a bunch of washers and stuff to fill in the gap. when i put in my integra shift stem it fit butta no need for washers except for the ones you get from the factory.
i'm gonna have to say the 94 and eg shift stems are different.

Judging by the part numbers, according to DC Sports (www.dcsports.com/hsa.html), 1984-1987 CRX/Civic and 1986-1989 Integra use the same shifter, 1988-1995 CRX/Civic and 1990-1993 Integra use the same shifter, and 1996-2000 Civic/Civic Si, 1993-1997 Del Sol, 1994-2000 Integra, and 1997-2000 Integra Type R use the same shifter. However, Neuspeed (www.neuspeed.com) has different part numbers for shifters, for which DC Sports has the same part numbers. :dunno:
