As for me not buying a duckbill? Cause everykid and their mother was buyin' em. I wanted something subtle. So I got me an Sir spoiler. As for the rest of the stuff, unlike yourself I like to do things right. The mirrors are still stock, but my new ones are on the way. I think.

Most of the bondo can is still full. It went bad though cause I left it out in the rain. I put on new door skins to fix all the dents I collected. I'm also putting on a new tail gate when I go to paint it.

I'd love to see your engine bay. I chuckle everytime I see newly painted bodypanels, and old dusty engine bays.

 

you do the comparison. USDM OEM lights and corners vs. JDM OEM lights and corners. Which looks cleaner and overall fits better?


USDM stock hatchback spoiler vs the SiRII hatchback spoiler. the SiRII is longer in length as well as the LED light.


USDM clock vs JDM clock. all cosmetics. which looks better?...i'd say the amber.


USDM clusters vs JDM clusters....another cosmetic opinion. which looks better and uncheap?....I'd say JDM with the backlit faces and needles and ticks vs. the USDM side lit faces.



they all look similar...but are very different to the untrained eye.

 

im not giving an excuse for anything, i got the spoiler as a gift so i put it on. its level with the roof so its fine. it will come off once i get the carbon fiber one. hell, i might even put back on the oem one, i just need to get it repainted. i bought the car with arospeed lowering springs, i get my neuspeed race in on thursday. the engine bay isnt that bad, it matches ok. its off a little in color (darker) but ill probably spray it when i take out my motor when i do the swap. i dont take any pics of it b/c the block is always dirty do to the vtec gasket that is leaking everywhere. and my paint isnt macco damnit.:squint:

 

Exactly why I like JDM, it's invisible to the lamen eye.
Yet, it's still a great mod. I'd rather have mods that are subtle and hardly noticed over the crap that they're selling today (altezzas, LED this and that, indiglo this and that...).

The SiR spoiler sticks out farther than the VTi or USDM hatch spoilers.
