LSD how do you know it has it?

LSD how do you know it has it?
We got a jdm b16a and we have it torn down building it back up with some pulleyes, fly, clutch etc etc. But anyways I just read that jdm engines come with LSD. Is this true and if so where is it located?

:fawk: anyways in jdm land lsd was a option for a lot of hte engines
one telltale sign is on the tranny near the block code it actually says "LSD" on it
another way to check is if you take out the tranny if you lookd through the opening if you can see through to the other side its LSD, if its obstructed then its a normal tranny
(hard to explain ill try and find a site)

if you have a line in your differntial you do not have lsd
if you can see through the differential you have lsd
usually it has LSD stamped on it
if you can see through the differential you have lsd
usually it has LSD stamped on it

yeah i think the easiest way is to look at the differential and see if you can see through it. This reminds me of one time i was up at acura when the 03 cls 6spd's came out and the sales guy was like....the 6spds have LSD? I was like...ummm yeah and he was like WOW I DIDNT KNOW THAT :doh:
