Okay, I must be an idiot - how do you attach the sides of the oem lip? I've got all of the clips (they all say F on them). Should there be different clips for the sides?

1998 Civic EX.

I got it on (the front was no problem) but the sides don't seem 100% right. It came with around 10 clips (all the same) but the side holes on the underside of the bumper are different than the ones in the front and I don't quite get how they attach. I have it on now, and it looks almost perfect (very little gap between lip and bumper on the sides).

I placed the clips square nut side up (no jokes, please! ) above the hole so it holds on the bumper. However, I don't know if that's the right way.

 

i have the same lip.. and yes they go nut side up.. its neat cause it comes with no instructions.. lol
