2000 alone won't get u b16a2 or h22 in your car. u need parts too to add to that. get an ls and u should be under 2000 range and den turbo afterwards

Get the B18B (Integra LS) engine. I dont think you can get a B16 and deffinetely not a H22 installed for 2000.

b16a2 into a 95 civic--you'll need the motor, tranny, axles, ecu, etc. + install, this will definately cost you more than $2000 + turbo which will prolly run you at best $2500+.

Good Luck

You can get a B16A2/3 for under $2000. If you can swap the motor yourself then it will be right around $2000 for everything. www.osakajdmmotors.com

The B18B is also a viable option, it's what I have and it can hold it's own. I'm waiting for my brother to get a new hub assembly so I can run his B16A CRX vs. my B18B Civic CX. I could probably tell you who would win. I think I would take him off the line because the torque band is lower on the B18 than it is on the B16A, but he would pull me on the topend. I do know that I ran against a JRSC Si and it was a virtual tie up till we hit a 100 and he started to pull pretty hard. However the 6th Gen Si is that much heavier.

As for the H22 expect to pay upwards of $3K, you need new mounts, harnesses, axles, shafts.
