maybe it depends on where you live? i already got offers for up to 5k for my car and its not even for sale h:

 

Just like real estate, location is the key. I see del sols in the paper (Washington Post) going for $5k easy, but sporty style cars do generally sell for more in the DC metro area.

Is there another car you want to buy now? Otherwise, I'd just wait till spring. Then you'll have no problems selling it.
