Will 18's fit?
If I don't lower my car, will a set of 18's fit? I'm definately getting 17's, but someone told me that if I didn't lower it, 18's would look sweet. Anyone else done this? Good? Bad? Thanks.

An 18x7.5" wheel with at least a +42mm offset would fit a civic. With no lowering, I don't think there would be a problem with rubbing. I would just advise against it because of the fact that there isn't much of a sidewall (tire size would have to be 215/35/18) protecting the wheel against potholes and bumps and whatnot (especially if you were thinking of 18's as a daily driver wheel)
Also, 18" wheels would look kinda off on a car that isn't lowered or has no body kit (or both).

might as well go buy a truck, you be sitting about even with them. when i had my 17 on before i dropped my car, i thought it sat way to high, cant imagine it with 18's. Id go 17 with a drop and kit. of 16 with a drop and no kit.

I'll repeat what everone else said. 18s without a drop looks like crap. Plus 18s are heavy, expensive, and impractical. Do you know what the cost of replacing 18" tires are? Do you know how many shops might not even carry an 18" tire for you?
Anything larger than 16s will suck away performance from your car too.

However 18s will have small side walls and you will have to watch out for and aviod pot holes. I doubt you want to bend a 18" rim right after buying the thing. Get 17s and lower it.
Friend of mine wants to put 17" Motegi MR-7s (played out and out dated) on his 240sx and not lower it. Hopefully he'll see the light after he see that it looks like ****.
