Default 6th gen civic lip

So, we all know the 5th gen civic lip fits on a sol with a little bending. And we also know that 5th gen owners are throwing 6th gen lips on their cars. But has anyone tried a 6th gen civic lip on a sol? I haven't gotten to look at one since I had this "major brain storm" but I'm curious.

Default bringing up an old post...

What is the difference with the 6th gen. civic front lip and the 5th gen front lip? Is the 6th gen. a little bigger? If it is a little bigger, then it might be able to fit the sol's front bumper alot better than the 5th gen. Curious to know and find out.

You have to use a heat gun and mold it to fit.

So does anyone really know the difference between the two civic lips? The 5th gen lip is a bit shy in length to wrap around and the 6th bumper does seem a little larger. I'm trying to avoid having to use a heat gun, I'm trying to look for a bolt on approach with as less modification as needed. Well, only one way to find out, just gotta find a way of getting that 6th gen lip without paying much.

I think it's probably more work than you care to do. Someone did put a 99-00 SI on his blue delsol, but I forgot who it was. I think the had to cut the sides off, but I can't remember.
