im not sure. but if an si 92-95 only has a tach and the cluster shows the automatic **** then im left to think this!! i never saw the guys car. only going by what i see ok.

probably a 92-95 ex auto

back to your problem.. are you SURE the check engine light in the old car worked?? did it light up when the car was turned on??

yea as far as i know it worked. no reason to think it didnt. all the other lights came on for a second when the car first started. and yes it turned on for a brief second when the car first started! im positive its this new cluster!

There is no Si auto, the only Si auto that was made between 92 and 2000 is the del sol Si, and it was an option. And no, the cluster for a del sol is not the same. The EX (positive, I have one in my garage that I took out of the car) and dx (fairly sure) had tachs.
Back to the point, did you plug all of the plugs into the back? Have you reset the ecu? Does the old one still work, and have you tried it to see if that still works correctly? Have you taken a look at the actual sockets for the plugs to see if there is any difference? You're not really giving much info here...

yea all the plugs are correctly plugged in (checked twice). yea the old one still works. no i havent reset the ecu. is reseting the ecu undoing the battery? i think thats what im gonna end up doing, but i wanna see if there's something else i do first. thanks
