Default need help on new swap..

OK i have a 00 civic si i had a b20 engine in the car so i just recently purchased a b16a2 obd2 engine and about 5 hours ago i finish swapping the engine in the car but the check engine light its on so i try to connect the scanner and cant read anything it says linking error on the scanner i don't know what to do and also the rpm gauge don't work and neither the speedometer so please if somebody have any info about this problem let me know i am using a p2t ecu and the wire harness i got the guy who i bought from said it came out of a 99 si the car is running good but the only problems i have are the one just mention thanks for any help.

Default RPM inop.

I just went through the exact same thing. Make sure all the connectors on the ECU are hooked up good. If worse comes to worse you can hook your speedo and RPM directly to the speed sensor.
