vtec diy questions

i've seen the easy mod on jdmfan.com on how to install a vtec light. my question is... where would u mount the light? is there like a place where u have to drill out to put the light? thanks

im pretty sure its up to you where you want the light just run the wires long enuff to where you wanted the light to be mounted

i know how to run the wire... but it's more of where the light would be mounted that i am wondering about.

i just followed the instructions from here. the installation is the same for your 98. just make sure the engine has vtec.

did it last night toook like 20 min. i used a little blue led its really bright

where did u tap ur line into? did u tap it into the ECU or directly onto the solernoid? if directly into the solernoid... how did u run the line from the engine bay into the cluster?

i just tapped into the solinoid ran the wire in the car and i dont know abou ex's but my si has an open spot that doesn't have a light or anything right above 5k rpm thats where i put it
