I have a 97 so I dont know how different the models are, but there is a bolt on the bottom side of the headlight that you have to unscrew. It is a b!tch to get to, you have to go under and behind the bumper to get to it, but its there. Once you unscrew that you should be fine. But mine is a 97 so I dont know how different yours would be.

You dont have to remove the bumper. To get to the screw you have to go under the front bumper, between the area of the front bumper and the radiator (that little area, basically the same area where you see the airbag deployment sensor button thing) and use the tool to get up there and into the screw, the just unscrew. Basically just get under your car and take a flashlight under there in that general direction and you should be able to see the screw.

Just take your bumper off, it takes like 2 minutes. All headlight-related bolts will be exposed.

Is it easier that way? I just did it the way I explained above because I didn't want to deal with taking the bumper off, I thought it would be more difficult.

there are 2 bolts on the bottom, 2 metal screws in each wheel well, and 7 plastic screws in the front under the hold, all holding the bumper on. Not very difficult to remove (I just got new headlights, so I know for fact).

after that, there's 4 bolts on each headlight, 2 on top, and 1 on each side of the light, unexposed unless you take off the bumper.

but thats on my '96. It may be a little different for 99-00
