I am going to get some 17" gunmetal Motegi MR7s for my car and looking for some good tires. What type of tires yall think i should get, nothing expensive, i'm running on a pretty tight budget! Thanks!

Since it is winter, you might want to get some Snow Tires, if needed, depends on where you live

Kumho 712s are prolly the best deal you can get on tires. But not good in snowy conditions Next I would try Ventus or Suminito (sp?) tires.

Sumitomo! tirerack.com has them. They have 3 general types... one of them works decent in snow.

But for it's price, Kumho's are REALLY good.
Kumho recently came out with a new tire, check out tirerack.

Tirod EJ just got some AVS ES tires by Yokohama and he likes them. I'm planning on getting the same thing.

Just stay away from Hankook. I remember someone posting a guy that has an S2K and he had all these mods and he bought Hankook tires for his new wheels. On his way to the track, one of the tires just got shredded...
