on the bottom of the radiator, there is a plug. looks like a wing nut almost. Loosen that to drain the fluid. Then, disconnect the hoses, and electrical connections (I think 2), and you're left with just the top bracket to take off. Piece of cake.

For an at-home flush, buy some cooling system flushing solution at the auto parts store and follow the directions on the bottle. Usually you'll want to drain the coolant, pour the flush in, fill the the radiator with water, and run the car for 5-10mins(or until it's hot, while parked, of course) with the heater blasting full-hot. Then you drain, fill with water, and run the car again, then drain, and refill with fresh coolant/distilled water mixture. If you want some extra cooling capacity, run a bottle of Redline Water Wetter. It's about $3-4 a bottle and increases the coolant solution's ability to dissipate heat. One bottle will treat your entire cooling system. Water Wetter also lubricates the seals in your cooling system and helps prevent corrosion.

The flush cleans out all the corrosion and whatnot that may be in your cooling system, not just the radiator. Whether or not that's necessary would be up to you. If you haven't flushed your cooling system in a while, I would go ahead and do it before putting a new radiator on.

Water wetter is not an anti-freeze!It is great in the summer but if you are in a cold area(Canada) use anti-freeze.
I have a 2 core Modine. It was cheaper the fuidyne(that sh*t is $$$ up here).Still you are looking at a couple hundred dollers.

I know it's not an anti-freeze, you add it to the coolant/water mixture. The only time you would want to run straight Water Wetter/water is in a race application, or in the summer when temperatures don't go below freezing.
