Default Steering Rack Bushing

I am getting ready to replace my inner and outer tie rods. I have read that you should replace the rack bushings also. A lot of the threads that I have read say that you only replace the passenger side bushing. Is this correct?

It is a 93 Civic SI

thanks,
michael

if you are gonna brake take it down that far, I rec. doing both while you are at it. Not overly difficult, and you will def feel a difference if they are starting to show their age.

Thanks for the reply Civic2Scooby.

Once I get the inner tie rods off, will these bushings be right there to get at or will there something else there that I will have to take off? The exploded view of the shop manual makes it very confusing to me.

thanks,
michael
