Default Rain sucks

It was pouring last night here in beutiful fort lauderdale, driving about 15mph i couldn't see anything and ran through a very deep puddle.
My car died and I had to call triple A to get it towed to my house as it would not start up again. I have a cold air intake =/ ...it's making a clicking noise whenever I try to start it, could it just be the spark plug or is there water in my engine )i really thought if there was it would make some kind of weird noise, instead of just clicking and not starting up)?

Please help,

Alex

not necessarily

bit puddles don't mean hydrolock.... i went through a HUGE puddle that i didn't know ws there.. going about 20mph, my car immedicaly died.... and i couldn't start it... it probably flooded the electrical system.. i sate there

and sat there......

and sat there......

cranking... and then finally it came back to life! check if anything shorted out....u hydro if u submerge your filter into water.. and you're revvin like a mofo

Nothing will happen to the engine is hydrolocked. If it's hydrolocked then the thing is gone, talk to westcoaststyle, this happened to him about a year or so back. He slowly built a GS-R engine to replace it.

Dude that sucks man. I hope everything works out and hope it isn't hydrolock.

You live in Fort Liquirdale too? What part? It was freaking pouring yesterday though I couldn't step outside of my house. We have a roof leak.

By the way, I'm in Lauderdale... right next to the interstates.
