Mesh screen worked fine for me for almost 2 years.h:
I finally located a 45 degree silicone connector that would clear my slave cylinder, so I didn't really have an excuse not to run a filter anymore. The A'PEXi power filter slowed my spool a little, but as you can see above, it filters the best, and flows the best out of the filters tested. It also doesn't use oil, and is reusable.
