Picked Up A Slut And Had Her Painted... :)
Cliff Notes:
Bought Honda Del Sol SI 5speed in Dallas: May 15.
Next Day neighbor backs into Door: May 16.
Waiting on paperwork for title before we can do anything.
Same Neighbor Backs rear quarter panel: June 30.
Finally get paperwork in and Allstate writes us two big checks.
$1300 for the first time
$1700 for the second time.
We spend 2550 to paint and repair other body damage. ( yes I know you paid more then what the cars worth......whatever...) Our money...our car.
One month later and the car looks brand new. It now has a new lease on life.
We put on new one piece headlights and red/white tails and new fog lights. New Rims (15x7 MB Weapons with 205/50/R15 Falkins.)
Boy what an ordeal this has been but now we have a good looking little daily driver with 22/38 mpg.
Pics.
Starting with the damaged ones first...there will be some cell phone pics in here as well.

this was some kind of bullet hole that needed fixed.

Sad Wifey...

An Evo that the Engine blew up on. AEM parts malfunction...

needs a drop, but amazing looking del slo. Really happy the body shop actually tore it down to paint. nobody here will be mad about the money you spent getting it back into shape because it was done RIGHT. I am really happy you saved a sol *no pun intended* now go punch your neighbor in the mouth
Nice, I love watching tear downs and build ups. I would of whooped my neighbor's ass if he did that to my car, let alone twice.
Looks very nice though, love them wheels. I have 15" BBS wheels on my car, and the Toyo's (205/50R15) are loud as all hell. How do you like them Falkens?

It does need a drop but we ran out of monies for the time being. It is on the list along with real Sol seats. Those civic seats suck some major ass.
That EVO has to have a new engine. Something went wrong with an AEM Methanol somethingorother and blew up the engine and AEM feels they are not responsible for it even though it was installed correctly..
I cant say too much about the NB since in the end he helped pay for the complete rebuild:irock:
The Falkens are very good riding and quiet, Im impressed with them being a $50 tire and all.
