u shoudl also check your thermostat... maybe it needs to be replaced... you'll be surprised how much stuff relies on engine temperature... on my AT, it kept shifting like the engine was cold for sooo long cuz the thermostat was done... heat wouldn't work until the bad thermostat got up to temp.
