I'm about to that point!

I've called B&M about this and they said grease it up...:dunno:

 

I've got a rattle from my Tenzo SS, but it's designed for an Integra not a EJ (which is why it rattles). Do you think it's possible that B&M messed up on the design of the SS? Just a thought.

 

well they did something wrong, i bought quality expecting quality, the car is put away for the winter. so i wont be able to mess around and find a way to stop this rattling, if there is a way. so your guy's mission is to figure this thing out, if possible, and inform all of us how to fix it.

my heat shield has already been bent back, so its not that.

 

mine rattles with my stock motor and linkage with the apexi world sport cat back.. i've grown used to it, but it still pisses me off

 

i regreases my bushings last night and mofo still rattles
i still haven't tried the dynomat stuff yet...
another problem:
anyone noticed a "eeeek" noise when shifting from 2-3-4 and vice versa? I think the culprit is the balance ball on the ss. it hits the bar at the end of the shift stab bar. i'm guessing this is for weight purpose :dunno: anywho, it seems the ball is too big on the b&m ss.

 

I was gonna get the B&M edge shifter, but do you guys recommend against it? Have you found out how to fix the rattling?

 

i used 99 SI linkages when i put in the b18
i had the Skunk2 short shifter and stock bushings and it rattled every now and then

still have no idea what caused it

so if u guys figure out how to fix it would be a big help!

 

when you guys say " rattles " what do you mean ? i have a cheap ebay ss and i got no problems or complaints. btw i got a stock linkage and motor .

it does it for me usually when i let off the gas at high speeds

 

u bseries swap guys should of gotten a integra stock shifter. i got one in my Si for my b16 and the throws r short and very smooth, no rattles and i also replaced the bushings. very solid.
