there are mixed reviews about them floating all over the place. some people luck out and recieve good stuff from them. others arent so lucky. it's up to you if you want to take a chance.

honestly, have someone help you out with this one.

stuff the exhaust tip with an old towel. have someone hold the towel in, and listen for leaks in the exhaust system. obviously, dont hold the towel in there longer than necessary, its not exactly healthy for the engine.

but if the header isnt even installed, you can dunk it in a big tank of water

I have an easier one. Take a small mirror and move it around the header. If there's exhaust coming out somewhere it will fog up.

BTW, if you're looking for a cheap header, search for Airmass. They are made by Holley, which is a very reputable performance part manufacturer. I bought it for like 80 bucks new on ebay. Had it for bout 3 months, still looks and sounds great. The only thing that I had a problem with is that I had to drill the stud holes a bit, and I bent it a little with the help of a torch because the collectors were a bit big. The fit could be better, but on a budget its the best choice, besides the obvious of course.

Its either a hit or a miss. My obx radiator hoses lasted 6 months before it started to crack. Samco ftw now.
