Default mesh grill methods

alright i have a 6th gen civic and am going to add some black mesh to my front lip tonight. my question is should i cut out the bottom part and install the mesh or just put it over?

im planing on getting fog lights which is the reason i ask.

mabe i could just keep the fog brackets..... what do u think?

I wouldn't cut it out. I am thinking of doing the same, but I think if you cut them out, you would lose too much integrity

I took apart my stock grill and made it into a mesh grill.

as for the bottom, I'd suggest leaving it, or getting one from grill tech.
