18" Wheels
There is a 96-98 civic ex with 18 on a 3" drop. It looks so sweet
with the tires tucked in the fenders. The guy told me he went through 2 fenders trying to get everything right. Just the way his looked, it's definatly going to rub.

More often than not, it will. If you have a +42mm offset and you have a 215 size tire, then you will be keeping the rubbing at a minimum. But if you still have about a finger gap between the tire and fender, then probably not...
Be forewarned, many will advise you against the 18's...

Don't you rub already? You'll definitely rub with the 18's. You could try rolling the fenders. Or better yet keep the 17's and get a different suspension that lowers a little more. Or if you wanna know what I'd do. Sell your current wheels and suspension, buy some nice 15's or 16's and slam that biatch
but hey, thats just me

i have 17s on a 5th gen and i have no wheel gap in front. about half my tire is hidden and i rub when i turn the whole way to the left or right. other than that im good. id have to say 18 are to big. unless you keep it ridin pretty high.
When I had 18x7.5" with 215/35's I had about a finger gap and I would still rub when I hit bumps and small dips.
A good alignment would also help in aiding to prevent rubbing... If you're camber is all wrong (like mine was) then you'll definitely experience some tire rubbing.

i think i'm gonig to stick with 17"s, you guys convinced me. I dont experience ANY rubbing currently, my bump stops take care of that.....my suspension is very tight, so that helps in preventing the fenders rubbing. I'd rather not bend the fenders, i like to keep things hassle-free.... Now i just need a new set o' 17"s
