Default i'll never buy something off of ebay again

first and bad experience: wanted some 99-00 si wheels for my dx hatch. found some on ebay, bid on them, won the bid, and paid on paypal the next day. now, 3 weeks later, I still don't have them. the seller's excuse was he couldn't ship them for a week because he was out of town. he said he shipped them, and i'd receive a tracking number - never got that. another week later, he said they arrived back at his house because he'd shipped them to the wrong address, and he'd resend them. Here it is, 3 weeks later and i don't know if i'll even see them. I know it's the start of winter and i can't use them anyway, but I'd like now know what I mean? seller feedback was all good too?! Just a bad first experience with ebay. We'll see how it turns out. Anyone else ever have a similar situation?

Give it a little more time. 3 weeks isn't that bad. If it gets over a month then you have a right to get pissed. All the stuff he said could very well be possibly true.

just hope for the best. with big items like that, sometimes it is hard to ship. but 3 weeks is a long time.

shipping ususally takes a week... so thats 2 weeks of laziness on the sellers part.

I say give it another week and a half, then start worring.

If and when you ever get them, leave bad feedback. There is no excuse for him not to send the stuff, none at all. Wheels aren't hard to ship. Wheels/tires come through work (UPS) on a daily basis and they get loaded on the truck just like any other package.

I know I sent an item by USPS and it took 1 month to get to the guy. I was getting pissed since I didn't want him thinking I was screwing him.

Try to get the tracking number and look online for it. Go to http://www.ups.com to track it.
