I don't see anything wrong with asking SIMPLE AND BASIC QUESTIONS here. That's why I made this post. If you cannot answer here in a nice fashion then don't answer at all.

We all had to learn from someplace, from someone, at sometime. Just because you've known it for years, doesn't mean someone else should know it. I made this post so people can ask questions like that.

I've seen bronze/gold headlights now. Kinda looked cool

But to get the orange reflector you just open up your stock headlights and replace it for the clear on in an aftermarket one. At least that's what I did

It depends on what you are talking about for DOT. You could have DOT legal tires, which mean they are "legal" to drive on the street. And in the cases of some autocross tires, have just enough tread to be driven on the road even though they have a treadwear rating of 40 But basically DOT legal items are legal to be used on the road. Like most Altezza taillights they haven't been put through the process of getting them legal due to costs. Some companies have gone through the process, but then the price of those taillights increase.

Sarcasm, learn to detect it.

In the next few weeks I will be shopping for new wheels and tires for my Civic. I would like to do some track days with my friends during the summer, even some autocrossing. Are 17's too big for autocrossing, or should I stick with some 15's? Seems like 16's cost more than 17's for tires. What about a light weight 17 like the Racing Hart CP8R?

Thanks
Rob
