I have a 96 model Civic with a S20 manual tranny and after 20 minutes of driving I would feel the steering wheel jerking left to right as if the front wheels were slack and I can also hear a loud noise as if the CV joints are bad. I have had the axles checked I have changed all the steering ends and I have even changed the clutch plate but no luck. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

 

Wheel bearings. The bearing races are probably shot.
