I hear powerslots are crap and powerstops are good.

I highly doubt they're brembo, but I don't know for sure....

Why do you ask? Are you looking to get some?

I have Powerslots already
I asked about Brembo slotted rotors, but the shop told me Powerslots are better and don't rust.

and a friend told me about the brembo+powerslot thing..
I never actually checked for a brembo symbol on the powerslot rotor so I don't know for sure...

I have brembo x-drilled and slotted rotors.. they do rust, but all disks rust because they're bare metal.

I had the Powerstop X-drilled rotors and they gave off this nasty rusty look after I'd wash the car. It goes away after you drive around for awhile, but I had to replace them because they were getting hairline cracks on them... Replaced them with slotted.

I have powerslot rotors as well and I have had no problems with them. I am not sure however if Brembo and Powerslot are the same. I do not think they are.

Do you guys think they actually help? I mean are they a good buy for more than just the "cool factor"?

I was able to see improvement in my stopping power once I installed my powerslots. I bought these because I did not think it was neccessary to buy a big brake upgrade kit. I do not think they are worth the money(the big brake kit) unless you have some serious power that you need to stop.

I got my powerslots because my stock rotors were warped.

I noticed a big difference in my stopping power
