i figured why my intake had so little room, it was my bypass valve, cuz i cut the pipe in half to install the valve, what i did was pushed the upper pipe too low, so the whole intake got push down to the side.

but the pipe that goes down the hole is still touching the edges, any idea, i tried adjusted at different ways, but no luck. i am thinking to get some think heaving insulation tape and tape around the pipe, so the edges of the hole won't touch the pipe, but anyone know where i can get those? thanksyou!!

also, since i had to cut the pipe to install the bypass valve, but i kinda cut the pipe littlebit short, which the upper pipe only goes into the valve a littlebit more than 1/2 way, so is this ok?

get some tubing, cut down the center length wise, and mold it around the hole, so you have a little rubber piece guarding all the metal that would be touching the pipe.
