Default 97 civic dx hatch leak

okay omg dys car runs perfectly but too many other problems like leak rust n all im trynna fix its worth it bot for $800 =D 117k miles on it with just a little rust broken sideview mirror and a leaking hatch well i fixed da broken mirror m fixing the rust this weekend but idk how to fix the leaking hatch i mean whenever it rains theres no water on da hatch glass or nething i think its either comin from somewhere undereneath the car? maybe a hole or something? or could be the tail light seal any suggestions how to fix it?

Find where the leak is coming from...Hint: use waterhose.

i think its from the tail lights but idk where to buy the gaskets from

I would go to Home Depot or something and just find a piece of rubber. If you have old gaskets there, you can use them as a template for cutting out the new ones. If you dont have the old ones, the idea is simple; you need to put a seal between the taillights and the hatch. Just cut a piece out that fits into the cavity and cut the appropriate holes out for it (studs and wiring.)
