Hey Guys,

I ordered some replacement bulbs for my Honda dash becuase a few dead bulbs where in there. When the new ones arrived, they have this blue sleeve over the bulbs. The sleeve feels like a kinda of rubber :thinking:. I'm wondering if this is to give the dash a "blue light" look as oppose to the "orange" look with original bulbs. I notice the original bulbs may have had those sleeves also, but orange in color. Being safe is my most concern. I don't want to leave the sleeves on and my dash catches fire from inside

Maybe when they heat up a little, they melt to the bulb, but not enough to ignite a fire. :nervous:

 

That is normal and you could leave the rubber sleeves on there.
