Default Opinions? Suggestions?

I would like your guys opinions and/or suggestions , please.

I don't know if anyone remembers, but my hatch is dead and I have my truck. The hatch is sitting in the garage all alone.

okay..here's the "question"..

Keep these things in mind: I have something to drive, it doesn't matter when I get the hatch running, my goal is to have it running by summer

How should I attack "repairing" my car?

Should I good ahead and do one 'component' at a time...(ie. Do all the springs, shocks, sturt bars, sway bars, brakes-suspension.. then do the cd player, speakers, subs, amp-system)

or should I get an engine first and go from there??

Please make comments and suggestions....sorry that this was so drawn out, I'm just unable to sleep..its 2am and I have to wake up at 6am, heh.

How exactly is it dead? Did you blow up the block or something? If so, I would worry about a powerplant first, then focus on the smaller things.

all depends on what the goal is.. you trying to go fast look good or sounds good? what the focus of the car.. id stick with that... as important as a motor is.. i would INITIALY focus on what you really want out of the car..

:werd: motor first.

Once you fix that, you can be tuning it while you're getting your other stuff. Plus, once you get started on your motor, you'll need all the extra $$ you can get.

What are your plans for powerplant?

fix whatever is keeping it from running. if the engine is broke, no better excuse to swap a bigger one in .
