Well, if i were to dissemble the taillight, i'd use a heat gun. Damn it would look good though to paint the chrome to match the cars black paint. That would look very clean. Unofrtunatly, since i don't have my stock taillights anymore, i'd have to find a time when im not going anywhere for like 2 days

friend of mine used the spray on window tint!!!!!! looked great!!!!!!!! and its very easy,,,,dont sand them tho like some ppl say to do!!!!!!you dont have to use clear coat either, sometimes the clear coat will turn a yellowish color!:thumbup: gud luck

No clear coat mean that they won't last. Or after a few rain storms and washes, it will fade.

If it's water soluable then I would suggest using a clear coat. I didn't use my Nightshades yet, so I can't tell ya

not true , mikes have been done for like 2 years and still look like they day they got done!:naughty:

I've had the Japanese spray on red tint for over a year and it's held up quite nicely.

i have used both testors and model master. my tails were clear and i made them half red and half tint. the model master looks better, and by the way, the testors clear coat will peal off in a few months, i had to redo mine without it, and it looks ok now, not as good as model master paint though. i personally would go with model master transpaerent black window tint if you can get it.

I think i might go with the night shades, then apply several clearcoats. Dont wanna go to dark. Or the po-po will be all over me.
