Default mid engined del-sol

im a mr2 guy, looking for a new project, i have heard of a mid engine del sol, who did this conversion, does anyone have more info on this or these cars, i will probably end up dropping in a turbo ca18...does anyone know a place to look for"totalled" del sols? if anyone would like to take measurements for me of the distance from the rear firewall to the center of the rear axles it would be cool and greatly appreciated as this would help to decide wether to use a honda or toyota/nissan motor(honda's rotate in different direction, i'd like to keep the engine in front of the axles but realize this might not be possible)

Ignore crucial. He likes to shoot his mouth off. Anyway, yes, it was Top Fuel that built the only one I know of. I have to ask, how do you plan on cooling it? that seems to be the biggest problem I could see.
