so yeah I was thinking of asking some other people on this other forum to see if they can look up the security code for my radio player for me.

I was wondering why is it bad to post ur VIN # around?

I remember once there was this thread on some guy saying he'll look up carfax #s for people and that went astray or something...

just want to know the bad sides to posting ur VIN # to people.

with the vin number they can look up what kind of car you have
also can look up the background on yoru car, and if they know, you can be a target of theft

also i dont think anyone else can get you that code

 

you gotta get the code from a dealer.. its not your VIN...

 

actually on other forums, honda-tech, etc. they got people working at honda that's willing to do this... so I'm going to try adn ask them.

I just found the serial # for the radio, so I'm going to ask around. heh.
