Greddy Evo 2 Exhaust rattle (not heatshield or loose bolts)
Hey guys for anyone who has this greddy exhaust, i have only had this on about 4 months and a bad rattle has developed. I took a look at it and felt an exhaust leak between the resonator. There are no clearance issues either. No heatshields are hitting it and its driving me nuts. i went to 2 different shops to get it checked and they say its the resonator. but the shop that i got it from say it could be my catalytic converter. but if it was that im sure my 95 civic will throw a check engine light on. i can't figure it out what but have concluded that the baffles inside the resonator were coming apart or loose which was causing the rattling noise.
Well heres the thing the shop say that greddy has a 3 yr warranty which they say they will take care of but the thing is i have to prove that it is the resonator problem and not the cat.
Anyone have any suggestions?

When I had a Greddy Power Extreme exhaust I hit the exhaust going over railroad tracks. Couple months later got it down to the resonator also. The parts in the resonator cracked causing my rattle at only a certain rpm.
On my 00 Civic Si the one joint on the b-pipe was hitting my gas tank, so I took it to my sponsor who bent a couple hangers to move it away.

okay but i didnt hit ne thing...so could the resonator be defective? the guys that sold me the exhaust asked me are u sure its not ur cat? cuz im thinking how will i be able to know if the noise is coming from my cat? and i am pretty sure it coming from the resonator...but they would need to ship the exhaust back to greddy either in cali or jersey and i will be stuck with no exhaust system in my car for the time being lol....ugh
