I would not skimp on MTF.

i beilieve you'll need 2.2 quarts of the motor oil.
a way to check to see if you have enough oil in your tranny is to put you finger in the filler hole and feel for the oil. you should feel oil on the base of your finger.
you are also suppose to have your car level when putting tranny fluid in. so have all 4 sides jacked up when putting mtf in.
and yes i'd only use Honda Tranny fluid in inspyral said.
also next time you shift into gear, have the clutch pedall the way down and keep it down and then put the shifter into gear to see if maybe your clutch is the issue which i doubt it is.
I'd get Honda MTF asap.

the car was level. yeah, it takes around 2.2-2.4 qts...once it starts spilling out the side thats how i know its full. when i have the clutch all the way down it still does it.
