Default Body Work Opinions

I saw this one civic in my neighboorhood that molded his doorhandles in so you couldn't see the lines. I think it looks good and clean, but whats ur opinions on it? What do u think the price would be like on something like that?

It wouldn't be cheap b/c they would have to mold the plastic door handles onto the metal panel. They probably wouldn't give you a warranty either b/c theres a good possiblity they could crack. but I've seen it before and it does look real clean.

Plastic expands and contracts with changing temperatures. If you have that done, there's a pretty good chance that it'll crack.

molding plastic and metal together is hard. it can be done. we had my the license plate holder molded to the trunk on my friends accord. it's cracked/bubbled all around the line we tried to shave off.

give it a go. but there'd be a good possiblity of crackin'.

It will crack. My friend had it done on his 5th gen accord and after 3 mos, it started cracking.

I still think a good mod is what inspyral did. Get a set of door handles that came off the rear doors of a sedan and replace your existing door handles with those (no keyholes). I still wish I did this mod. Extra security IMO (at least do it for just the passenger side anyways).
