my brother had a problem with them on his accord. The cheap sh1t ones that he had would strip when you used the key on them. Here's how he got them off. Find a tapered socket (wide on the opening, but gets narrow toward the back where it would attach to the wrench). Put the socket around the nut (you'll obviously need a socket that is big...20mm + probably). Once you have it around the lock, hit it with a hammer onto the lock. Don't be afraid to pound the living crap out of it. Since its tapered, the more it gets banged in, the more the socket will grip on the lock. Eventually, it will dig into the wheel lock enough that when you turn on the socket you'll be able to get the lock to budge. Give it a shot...with enough work and effort, it'll work.

Go to Home Depot and buy the Gator. It's an all around socket tool. It fits almost any bolt.

yeah, but generally, wheel locks are smooth...one of those gator grip things probably wouldn't work because it wouldn't have anything to grip onto.

you can use a channel locks, but most people i know use the wreck-a-socket method of getting it off.

lesson here kids, dont lose your wheel locks.

i think you can order more, but ... have fun

There's no harm in trying it.

very true...and if it did work, chances are it wouldn't really damage the locks that much.

wait a second... if the gator works, lug locks would really not be very effective anymore at preventing thieves from jacking your rims... i hope the gator DOESnT work...
