cam question
would a Crane Street/Performance camshaft meant for a D16A6 fit a D16Y7 ? basicly just install it and be done with it. no other mods, or would the fuel system need to be upgraded, etc ?
also, how would performance be after this is done ? and how would the gas milage be ?

no ones vtec ones not ( i think) isn't a d16a6 an old si motor??? i THINK its vtec.. your car is none vtec... and when you install a cam you want to get a cam gear also.. incase you need to fine tune where in the power band power is being added..
once again.. i THINK that is the motor.. but im not sure.. eithere way with something as presise as a cam (or any motor internals) you should get something EXACTLY for your car

the catalog i have says D16A6 is the old crx Si motor, and isnt vtec. and the horse power and a few other numbers are the same, so i figure as with other D-series parts, they're interchangeable
that sounds rigth then, but i STILL would definately NOT chance that... i mean, im SURE that the engine internals are NOT indentical.. im SURE some bolt on parts MAY be interchangable.. but i really don't THINK a cam from that motor would fit yours.. call crane monday and ask them.. but logicaly im saying negative..but im DEFINATELY not sure
